Who We Are

At Walla Walla Choral Society you will find singers from all different backgrounds. With a handful of professionals, we are mostly made up of incredibly hard working amateur singers. We offer 3 concerts per season and collaborate with elementary school choirs, multiple high school choirs, premier local musicians, and more.

Get Involved

From Cole Porter to William Bird we offer wonderfully diverse concerts that are crafted with an incredible attention to detail. Artistic Director Robb Harrison creates concerts that are not only a joy and challenge to sing, but a unique and diverting experience for our audience. The community comes away from our concerts with renewed enthusiasm, inspiration, and a lighter step.

2024-2025 Concert Season

  • A John Rutter Christmas

    December 1 || 3 pm

    Village Church, College Place, WA

    For the first concert of the season we will be performing “A John Rutter Christmas”. It will be a transportive night, featuring a string and brass ensemble, Rutter’s rousing three-part “Gloria” and a rendition of “Silent Night” that will leave you perfectly set up for the holiday season.

  • Remembering WWII - 80 Years

    March 23 || 3 pm

    In honor of the 80 years since WWII, our second concert of the season will be an incredible production. Together with Walla Walla Valley Bands and the Mill Creek Jazz Band, this night is going to be a marvelous tribute to the Greatest Generation. Bring kleenex and your dancing shoes. You can expect to hear classics from the era, big band and more!

  • Take Flight - A Northwest Composer Premiere

    June 1 || 3 pm

    James W. Knox is an American Composer local to the Northwest and Professor of Music at Central Oregon Community College. He has worked with Hirvo Surva, Main Conductor for the Virumaa Boys' Choir, The Estonian Men's Choral, Society Boys' Choir and The Revalia Male Choir. We have the great honor, as the finale of our season, to perform the world premiere of “Take Flight”, a piece for Orchestra and Choir, as well as other of his works. James Knox will be rehearsing with the choir and will direct a portion of the concert.
